  1. It is incredibly frustrating. I have been warning my friends about this thing since the 3rd week of January, with only one of them listening all that time, and now another one finally woke up today to what I've been talking about. The level of disruption coming our way is similar to that of the nation suffering an overwhelming military attack, or an EMP, or a wide-area natural disaster. I've been panic-buying supplies for more than a month already. In a nutshell - everything you see happening in other countries is going to be happening here, sooner or later. Obviously we've already got asymptomatic carriers roaming around the USA :(

  2.  @sallylunn8324  Ditto. The depths of this administration's incompetence remain to be measured .. suffice it to say that the readings are off-scale. Furthermore, the government in the USA hasn't got the manpower to enforce a quarantine-at-home program like the Chinese are doing. A great many Americans would probably resist living under police-state type measures. Won't be pretty :(
