This guess by no means matches an experimental result, but it should be somewhere around 15% * 15% (or 0.15 * 0.15) or 2.25% overall.

@brbroose Another bit of research I would love to see is the "distancing magnification" factor of everyone wearing masks. Let's say that (for example) there is a 20% transmission risk when you are standing 10 meters from someone (when you are both unmasked) but when you are both wearing masks, 20% transmission risk happens only when you get closer than 50cm (or whatever).

Checking in from Oregon, USA .. I started wearing a mask in public back in mid-March, when almost no one else was doing it, and I got a lot of weird looks. But now almost everyone wears a mask, except for the easy-to-spot conspiracy-minded ones (translation: total barking mad idiots) who scowl at it.

I've been voting with my feet and staying out of places where not enough people are wearing masks. Some stores around here require masks, which is better. I wish the governor would make it mandatory. New York and Massachusetts have both successfully slowed the spread that way.

@oskartang9797 As an American who's been wearing an Asian-designed plain black mask for months now .. I have really come to like the look of it.
