What someone needs to tell Putin now is that if the Russian invaders want to deploy tactical nuclear weapons into forward offense areas, the west will have no choice but to equip Ukraine with tactical nuclear weapons too. It's that simple. Probably the DMZ will need to be 100km deep into Russian territory around Ukraine, considering how useless the word of the Russians is on any kind of written treaty.
