  2. I'm expecting the US to end up with above 7000 cases per 1 million population. Some states still aren't on lockdown (like Georgia, with over 1300 cases); some are holding in-person prayer meetings instead; and domestic air travel still continues, with fleeing NY'ers taking the virus wherever they go. What a clusterfck.

  3. @dlee t Italy had a really good medical system to begin with and locked the place down. We have a shitty medical system. Domestic air travel is still continuing. States like Georgia (with over 1300 cases) still aren't locked down. Fleeing NY'ers are taking the virus home to the hinterland. We're probably going to see more than 3 million cases :(

  4.  @fionaanderson5796  I hope not too. But some in the USA apparently believe that economies cannot restart after disasters. They can, they do, they have. I think what the Trumpies mean when they say that is that Trump's presidency might not survive this.
