  1. Actually it takes about 40 days to see the true dimensions of the new-cases-per-day peak following a given large-attendance public gathering. This was best seen in the way Mardi Gras ended on 2/25, but the peak of resulting infections was 3/28 through 4/12. Look on the bright side, some of those fools will leave behind jobs, houses etc for the rest of us to pick up on the cheap once this thing dies down.
