  2. Size? Land doesn't vote. Land doesn't serve in the military. Land doesn't go to MIT and invent cool new weapons systems. Land by itself doesn't guarantee a GDP allowance. Having more land doesn't mean you're automatically given more and better weapons. All of that comes from prosperity, engineering, resources, people.
