  10.  @RowenaSnow-px3jg  You do have to do a bit of work at it. One person I know (her father was born in Germany) at first only got unlimited residency. At first, no job were available to her aside from the kind no one else would want. And then they offered citizenship, but only if she renounced US citizenship. And finally (after some 20+ years of this process) she was allowed to have dual citizenship.

  11. You may want to open up the constitution or the bill of rights. They apply explicitly to the PEOPLE who are here, without specifying that they be citizens or not. The constitution applies to all people in the territories of the United States. People.

  16. What's going on here in the US is grotesque. It is a sad spectacle to see so many people willingly going along with Trump's plans to remove all of the supports for modern civilization. Power grid safety, cancer research, retirement benefits, education, air traffic safety, pandemic response teams, firefighting, space debris monitoring, weather forecasting, rural broadband, etc. I'm lucky to live in a fairly blue state, and it's starting to look as if the states that are still free should pull away from the Trump's culties while we still can.

  17. Trump wants to do the same to whole classes of people. That is the meaning of the "mass deportation" that Miller is salivating for. It means not going through due process for individuals. Trump means to do asset seizure on more than 3% of our population.

  18. Europe contributed plenty of military force to the Gulf wars, the Bosnian war and the peacekeeping after, to the middle east. They are assisting Ukraine presently.
