  6. Ukrainians will someday make fine allies and NATO partners. Very resourceful. They have essentially done with drones what previously you needed long range bomber aircraft or ICBMs for - and they both have major escalatory issues.

  19. The demographic damage to Russia will far outlive Putin, all of Putin's cabal, the war, and Russia's reparations to Ukraine after the war. While the combat losses themselves are horrible, a much larger number of people fled abroad and will not be returning. All because the gnome in the Kremlin missed his glory days as a KGB officer in East Germany back before the Wall fell.
