  1. The USA is currently experiencing active case count growth rates above 17,000 cases per day. NO FRICKING WAY do you reopen the economy until you can ensure that going to work isn't a death sentence. And sending our senior citizens into almost certain death just to prop up a few Wall Street stocks is a disgusting, reprehensible idea.

  2. Trump finally has a "USA #1" thing to hang his hat on - America now has more coronavirus cases than any other nation in the world. Only 6 other nations had total case counts greater than the 17K+ increase we saw in just one day! So congrats, Trump, heck of a job Brownie, you finally made the USA #1 in something.

  3. Think of it as a sort of Darwinistic meme. Those people will go out and congregate on beaches, at NASCAR events, at MAGA rallies, etc, and 3 weeks later many of them will be in the hospital gasping out their last breaths. You cannot fix stupid, but you can position yourself to benefit from it.

  4.  @siderealvision  The US economy has never failed to rebound no matter what happened - and the 1918 pandemic messed things up badly. Many wars, economic crashes, earthquake, fire, whatever, we get the market going soon after the problem is resolved. But for now we must save every life.
