Debating with 45 is completely useless. Just like a pigeon playing chess, he'll strut around the game board, knocking over the pieces, crapping all over the place, making a lot of noise, then flying away squawking that he won. A waste of time.
41
@luke_skywanker7643 Watch him closely when he drops that line at his rallies - "You knew I was a snake when you took me in!" He's gleeful that the dolts don't realize exactly who he's talking about.
25
@Amanda-k3g1n Debating 45 is like playing chess with a pigeon - the bird will strut around the board, knocking over the pieces, crapping on everything, making a lot of noise, and then the bird flies away squawking that it won the chess game.

@shirleyandreas7480 They are what you might call a "hire court" .. just ask Harlan Crow.
22
She was so kind, merely calling them deplorables. More like despicables.
16
And yet, somehow this makes him the irresistible crybaby criminal jeebus to a certain type of folks. A mental health crisis to be sure.
13
Considering how the Republicans feel about abortion .. it seems fitting that they are being forced to carry a nonviable candidate to term. Wonder if any of them can spot the irony.
13
Nor was extorting Ukraine to make up dirt on his political opponents.
11
I was ready to vote for an urn with president Biden's picture in front of it .. or a rock painted blue .. but, wow, a Harris/Buttigieg team would be dynamite!
10
@griggbaylee5808 Confused old grandpa, who dumps in his depends, didn't wash hands, and was allowed to serve food?
10
Thank you for using his name .. notice how Fox always says "Barack HUSSEIN Obama" but never says "Eduardo RAFAEL Cruz".
9
@Kac64 Same! Usually I vote a mix (each candidate on their own merits, regardless of party) but this time it seems necessary to send the GOP a message.
9
Watching him skewer Republicans with facts is pure gold.
9
Mr Khalil is a legal green card holder. This is another of Trump's test balloons, a two-fer since Mr Khalil is both a legal immigrant and a student. First they came for the legal immigrants, and I didn't say anything because I wasn't an immigrant .. we know where that goes.

@oldschoolfunkster1 Every culture on the planet has a cautionary tale for the kids that goes something like this: a stranger shows up, promising all kinds of snake oil nonsense, he takes you up to a high place and spins yarns of what things might be like, then he asks you to do just this one little thing for him that happens to be illegal.
6
I kind of like the thought of the GOP being forced to carry a nonviable candidate to term. Let's see if they can spot the irony ;)
6
AG Garland has apparently decided that maintaining the appearance of "both parties are the same" is more important than doing his job.
5
And there's the rub - even Trump's staunchest supporters wouldn't leave their teen daughters alone with him.
5
Perhaps he "makes money" the same way Clarence Thomas does, with his buddy Harlan Crowe writing checks.
4
@Justice4all2023 The delay was in order to give Jack Smith as little time as possible to do anything.
4
No one should use the name. '45' suffices. Some may use '34' however ;)
3
Or he should read Project 2025, which would make huge swaths of Americans miserable.
3
45's abortion of a presidential term also ended up on the sour note of job losses in the millions, thanks in part to his complete failure to understand the blowback of tariff wars. Everyone else learned that stuff long ago. Not our homegrown dummy, however.
3
It's not symbolism to me .. he would simply make a truly awesome VP.
3
When this sorry episode in our nation's history is over, I hope we look back and take stock of how many of our fellow Americans fell head-over-heels for an obvious criminal, a serial liar, a sociopath, a wannabe dictator etc who brought nothing but bile and angertainment.
3
Cascadia would gladly join up.
2
Shout out to the Central Park Five, we too know who's guilty and who's innocent! :)
2
Remember that famous national park every schoolchild knows the name of? Yo Semite. Yet he pronounced "Mein Kampf" perfectly. Huh.
2
@PC-kd7dj It's about what you would expect in places with low education and high gun ownership rates.
2
@lyoncat2000 Zactly .. now watch him claim he never heard of it, has nothing to do with it, might have been seen in a few pictures with some of its authors, etc.
2
Trump doesn't have any best people. When he sends his people to town, he's not sending the best. Those people have lots of problems, and they bring those problems wherever they go.
2
To be fair to senator Graham, Trump has that effect on most of his supporters, save for the few who are smart enough to GTFO quickly, like Scaramucci.
2
@ezellmoore487 The people that try to become dictators are notoriously thin-skinned in that manner.
2
Illegal protests?
2
This is like watching Leslie Van Houten shriek out Charles Manson nonsense during her first time in court. It wasn't until years later that poor Leslie dimly began to perceive that she'd simply been misled by someone who was obviously a nut job.
1
OP is much kinder than I would be .. the phrase "bad-faith grifters" is what best fits today's Republicans.
1
Trump and his people are going to be awful; Fox and its kin will be filling the airwaves with "stolen election" nonsense right as Trump is telling them to take up arms and fight.
1
@Tuncle54 Without fact-checking the firehose of lies, there's no point of even putting 45 in front of a camera or microphone. It's as if, during the height of WW2, we were putting Lord Haw-Haw and Axis Sally on the front page of every newspaper. Wtf? 45's idea of a happy day is obviously America on fire and Putin thanking him for it :(
1
To my ears, the most dangerous part was when he talked about prosecuting people for "illegal protest". Does he intend to issue an executive order forbidding protest? Is he imagining some martial law type situation?
1
You can see it wearing on him. He's going to end up in Trump's F'd and Chucked pile soon enough.
1
She's not better at it, she's more transparent and ham-handed. She should be working at TASS instead.
1
@brenrenn8306 Strangely, Republicans are just fine with Cheeto dismembering our government, trashing all our alliances, shtting on our best allies, using the constitution as toilet paper. They need to change their name to the Manchurian party. They certainly fielded Manchurian candidates.
1
A confused old man, who's known to sht in his pants constantly, who wasn't wearing gloves and hairnet, was somehow allowed to serve food? He's not fit to be the third assistant dog catcher in a podunk town.
1
More correctly - Putin wants the US to fail bigly, and Trump is only too happy to oblige Putin in exchange for a personal money lifeline from the Kremlin coffers.
1
Trump dumps in his drawers constantly. No one saw him wash his hands. Fecal bacteria is what he probably added to the fries :(
1
Mitch is too late thinking he could close the Pandora's Box he opened. That's called regret, Mitch, for your thoughtless prior actions.
1
Disgusting that Felon 45 could have sheriffs standing behind him on stage. Like seeing parents supporting Jeffrey Dahmer.
1
That rainbow flag ring was so perfect!!! Well done! :)
1
Not sure on that cult just dissolving, even if their orange fuhrer should suddenly depart this plane of existence. Like a plague that sometimes exists in spore form, they'll hang around waiting for the next hate-spewing traitor to rally around. Trump showed the way for every other 2-bit grifter to exploit America's most gullible, who had hitherto not much been part of our politics.
1
"McDonalds just confirmed that" is just like the whopper "The FBI cleared me of any wrongdoing".
