  1. This is just more of Putin's 5-D chess. Unknown to everyone, the Moskva is also capable of submarine operations. It is on a very long undersea mission now.

  2.  @TheNeroScout  Nope, sorry, there aren't any US troops fighting. Just the people of Ukraine, which has the 55th largest economy in the world by GDP. Maybe someday Russia can join the G50 after the "special economic operation" now underway.

  7.  @Nilla187og  I'm sure they're trying. Not sure they're succeeding. If you recall from the news, Russia put its ballistic missile sub fleet out to sea about 4 weeks before attacking Ukraine.

  9. Putin's forces are about to get kicked out of Ukraine's eastern provinces. Couldn't happen to a better bunch. Big thanks to Putin for making NATO membership more popular than ever, and for revealing Russia to be more a member of the G40 than the G8.

  12.  @Nilla187og  Only if Pooty starts it. There's no upside to that option. Much easier for the West to reduce Pooty's conventional capability by equipping former SSR's with the goodies. Depends on how long Pooty wants to stay in the ring. NATO could stomp him flat. By now he must have realized that the Ukraine misadventure is lost already.
