Ignore what Trump says, just watch the air accordion. Who else remembers this Trump episode? First he made a secret offer to buy Greenland. Then the PM of Denmark (of which Greenland is a protectorate, sort of like PR is to the US) went public with her repudiation of the idea, calling it "absurd". Then Trump denied having made the offer, and called her "nasty", his usual term for women who stand up to his bullying. Then Trump canceled a planned visit with her, but denied it had anything to do with the Greenland thing. Then only weeks later did he admit he canceled the meeting because she refused his offer to buy Greenland.

Karl Rove completely misunderstands. It is not that whacktard Sidney Powell has thrown mud on Trump, but that Trump will flail around until he finds someone, anyone, who will indulge his most wacky narcissistic fantasies. Just when his itty bitty ego needed a voice to tell him that yes, the election really was stolen, that Biden's win was merely imaginary, she came along and, like a crackhead finding a hundie lying on the sidewalk, he grabbed that false narrative and ran with it.
