Trump has never understood that his ideas of "justice" differ from those of the law. Examples: He called for the Central Park 5 to be put to death, even though they were innocent. He called for Hillary Clinton to be locked up, even though she's never been found guilty of anything. He's calling for Roger Stone to get off easy, even though Roger Stone was convicted of serious crimes. He's calling for Nancy Pelosi to be locked up, even though she's never been found guilty of anything.

@jamesdanton9033 Your comment reminds me of the legal defense that Alex Jones tried in the Sandy Hook defamation lawsuit. Basically he argued that what he said was not a lie per se, but "rhetorical hyperbole". The things he said induced some of his followers to issue death threats to people who'd lost their children in the Sandy Hook massacre. Words have consequences.
