  1. When he mentions the money spent on those stupid illegal wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, he is trying to lay the grounds for later seeking financial reparations from those countries. We saw a hint of this back when Iraq's parliament voted to tell the US to leave, and his administration made some comment to the effect that they owed us money for having been invaded and occupied by us.
