Even worse - in the absence of consequences, even 6 months after we watched the insurrection live on TV, they push their lies and election rigging and "fraudits" even further. I fear one day we'll wake up and it will be too late :(

@billy9497able Quoting a little bit from German history a century ago .. then-younger Adolph Hitler received a slap on the wrist, 9 months, for having tried to overthrow the government. While in jail, he wrote a truly awful screed in which he laid out his plans to commit war crimes and genocide and other actions that would ruin the nation. Just as Clump would do a century later, he whined about being silenced when no publisher would put out his stuff. Here we go again :(

@nancyross7935 Sure, but this isn't a "two sides opposing each other" kind of thing. It's more like a "one side dumb enough to swallow obvious lies that wouldn't fool a cat" kind of thing, which works on them only because their biases run clear down to the bedrock. And even then, the number of those willing to commit crimes in service of the big lie is but a fraction of their whole number. It will be a police mop-up operation like the 1/6 insurrection was, after which none of those people will be allowed to own guns, and many of them won't be able to vote again.
