  1. Throwing something into the trash is not always the best way to get rid of it. Some of it is toxic and must be properly disposed of. Some of it has sensitive content and must be shredded before disposal. Some of it must simply be buried in a dark place and left to rot. Some of it needs to be hung high in an airy spot so that the wind and birds can work at it. So many choices.
