  1. Correct. We never before needed laws specifically preventing a president from telling nonstop lies about a deadly disease that's killing Americans. We've shown that when a corrupt senate leader works with a corrupt president, the checks and balances don't work. We've proved to the world that nothing in our laws prevents a president from withdrawing willy-nilly from treaties that the US signed in good faith. And now we're about to learn why these are not good things :(
