  1.  Evan Zuppardo  After seeing the mess that the Trump administration is, obviously we need to implement some fixes. That electoral college thingie has got to go. And maybe we need laws requiring the president to take policy info & guidance from US intelligence agencies and not from, say, Hannity and Putin.

Once we get things sort of restored to normalcy here, I would not be surprised if the rest of the world asks us some pointy questions, such as what we're going to do to make sure that we never ever again let a wannabe war criminal run the country. And depending on our answers, they might not trust us again.

  3.  Evan Zuppardo  Throughout the rest of the world, including China, many hundreds of millions of people's lives and fortunes have been affected by Trump's willy-nilly trade war nonsense. And now he's doing the same thing, but with weapons systems and lives. If we don't give the rest of the world some assurances that we won't let a total moron into power again, we're not going to be worth much to the rest of the world. They don't have to use the US dollar for trade, they don't have to be politically aligned with us, they don't have to let us put bases on their land .. they can turn us into the world's biggest leper colony, and so help me after Trump we might be deserving of it :(

Sometimes I wonder if America isn't destined to get the same treatment Germany got, you know, when the rest of the world gets tired of your lawbreaking for the flimsiest of excuses, your hitherto unchecked military adventurism, perhaps your crimes against humanity, etc, and they form a large and well-supplied alliance that invades your country and roots out all the domestic extremists with ruthless efficiency, some of whom are sentenced to death.
