  1. What the senate did was nothing but a popularity contest along party lines. Without exculpatory evidence (indeed, the Republicans worked hard to block evidence) there could be no acquittal anyway. To the 75%+ Americans who wanted witnesses & evidence introduced, it was an acquittal in name only, and Trumpf is obviously guilty AF.

"It's like you and your friends having strong evidence your boyfriend cheated, but before you can kick him out you have to convince his best friends and frat bros (who were there cheating with him) that your boyfriend was cheating."
