@cathichristian4142 Unfortunately :( Delta is nothing like last year's covid. This one kills regardless of age. I'm just sorry for all the people who are part of the collateral damage as all the anti-mask anti-vax people get their turn to learn that covid really is real after all.

@MEETMagazine If you really feel that way about the covid vaccine, just send your insurance company a politely-worded letter saying why you refuse to take any of the available free vaccines. Then, when they get the bill for your hospitalization costs and/or funeral costs, they have a good excuse to deny payment. You wouldn't want to be one of those freeloaders, would you?

Poor DeathSantis (or DeSatan) .. with enough dead Florida people, he could "prove" that the only way to defeat covid is to ignore it. Just like humanity did for AIDs, polio, whooping cough, measles, mumps, rubella, chickenpox, etc.

@paulahik211 Good luck with the move! This is quite a tumultuous time. Maybe for the trip you can double-mask then sanitize everything. Wishing you all the best of luck in your new place :) I just went coast-to-coast, and it was scary seeing how much of America is still in the "What pandemic? That's all fake news" stage of grieving, even as their own neighbors and relatives succumb to covid. All because a bunch of spineless traitors had to pander to an audience-of-one who felt the disease was going to make his re-election effort look bad. Former Guy's damage will outlive his own grandchildren :(

Congrats :) I got my second dose in May. Still waiting for the magnetism effect. Being able to levitate cars would be cool. But I'll settle for being a 5G hotspot just by blinking and tapping my arm.

LOL eastern WA is practically like part of Idaho. Even when the mask mandate reappeared, the only change was that the signs went up at supermarkets saying that everyone needs to be masked. The rule was universally ignored and not being enforced at all - I was there for maybe a week after the rules changed.

No problem! Just tell them they can always emigrate to some other place with more "freedumbs" than offered in the USA. Then let them find out on their own that every single country they could travel to will require proof of covid vaccination.
