@conantheseptuagenarian3824 Socrates also lived by "its sad for a man to never see how his peak physique is like". So you can't say he was theoretical only

If you understand the basics ot human psychology, people resent what reminds them of their weakest self. Like an ex fat person hating fatties etc.

Not true cause greeks had philosophy millenias before even Socrates

Not antiknowledge. But rather believes knowledge should be attained through life experience, sensationalism and pretty much being born with natural chad genes. To maximize those effects.

Well he literally drove himself insane so grain of salt is an understatement

Yeah that's a shallow reading of the depth of both those men. It went much deeper

They hate that Greeks did and invented everything before them

Nietzsche's idealistic perception ot presocratic, hellenic civilization, is a projection of his own desires, obsessions and shortcomings. Potentially even his mental illnesses to some degree. There was never this perfect utopia, were everyone was a benevolent uberchad and lived on instincts alone. Every era was repeating the same cycles of rise and decadence. Strong men, create good times. Good times create weak people etc.

He socially was the opposite of a chad, but so are most intellectuals. That's why he obsessed with power so much. You obsess with what you miss
1
@Miggus7362 that's why he lost his mind at the end. Cause he obsessed over an unattainable ideal he hold himself onto
