BBC question: "Of course the polls have been very encouraging for you in the last week, they've looked as if you're closing that gap, do you think this is going to be a positive or a negative for you?" OK. So this is a obviously a pre prepared question sneakily intended to conflate recent polls with the terrorist attack ('this'). Plainly the plan was to make it appear as though Jeremy was thinking about his own ambitions to be prime minister above these tragic events. BBC, you are a disgrace.

Why on Earth would the BBC think his political opinions are of any significance - do they think Star Trek is real or something?

So, when a white cop kills a black man we're told it's racist and when a black man kills three white men we're told it's not racist and when a white cop kills a white man in the exact same way (Tony Timpa) the BBC does not mention it.

The government cannot ignore almost thirty people!

There's a whole bunch of reasons why a Remain voter would switch to Leave and not a single reason why a Leave voter would switch to Remain.

Grumpy Pig And to use apostrophes to show possession... That should be: 'the Queen's English'.

It's looking like Starmer has got less votes than Corbyn in 2017 and less votes than Corbyn in 2019 - embarrassing:face-red-droopy-eyes::trophy-yellow-smiling:

I agree - we don't care how we get free. We just have a few hundred traitors stopping democracy.

I cant afford to climb Everest so I might just run my toes over with a lawnmower instead.

See how the BBC lies for effect: "resigns live on TV" - no he didn't - he announced that he had resigned and had informed Mr Corbyn of this. I wouldn't be surprised if the BBC gives Mr Doughty an interview with Mr Tumble next.

+croydonrudeness He said 'great oratory can lead to great mistakes'. What's wrong about that? Ever heard of Hitler? He was renowned for his great oratory.

"Santa Claus!" Is that girl stupid? Everyone knows Santa does not need visas!

BBC is a pro EU propaganda machine.
12
'pumped up' - what idiot told him to say that?
11
"In what way is he strong?"... Almost all of the Labour MPs, all of the ex Labour PMs, all of the Labour ex Leaders and all of the UK media tried every trick in the book to defeat him and what he stands for.... He's still here ;o)
10
Why does he assume people voted for '£350m p/w to NHS' when just like 'leaving the Single Market' it wasn't on the ballot paper?
10
The BBC was massively biased in favour of Remain and that didn't work. Here's some real news: The British people no longer believes the BBC and gets its news elsewhere. If the licence fee was a newspaper no one would be buying it.

My nan used to say: never trust a man with no top lip and glasses like the bottoms of coke bottles.

BBC are calling Jeremy Corbyn decision to do TV debate a 'uturn'... Unbelievable!

It's so they don't see themselves marching and get the giggles.

Why doesn’t the BBC report that hundreds of thousands of people have signed a petition for a British democracy.

Many people in the UK are concerned that too many people from other countries have been allowed to live and work in the UK because this makes life more difficult in the UK . These concerns can be summarised as being: 1, There are millions of people living in the UK that are unemployed or under employed. 2, The UK has a housing crises with 5 million on social housing waiting lists. 3, The NHS is unable to cope with current demand. 4, The state education system is unable to provide sufficient school places 5, Because of increased demand house prices have risen to levels unaffordable to first time buyers. 6, Wages/terms of employment and standard of living is being depressed by disproportionate labour supply.
8
after World War Two, all of the armed services voted for a Labour government to create the NHS and a better society, which Labour did.
8
Corbyn can do something not seen before in modern politics; he can draw huge crowds in any town in the country and we've yet to see how effective this will be in a televised general election campaign. The Labour party has more members, more helpers than any other party and plenty of funds. Another factor is the huge increase in voter registration in 2016.

A vital constituent of democratic society is the establishment will accept losing.

@CounterSpice How complex is spelling 'lives' correctly?

And people didn't even know he was wearing women's court shoes....

This is the BBC.

"How much has being posh held you back politically?" Only a fellow Etoneon in a top job could ask that!.....
7
He hasn't lost. Politics is about vision going forward and Theresa May's vision was not endorsed in the way she asked. She actually said, 'if she lost 6 seats Jeremy Corbyn would be prime minister'... She lost 13 seats.
7
Are you part of a Tory Party think tank?

My dad was 22 years in the Royal Navy and served in WW2, but I never heard him say that word.
7
France could easily prevent this - the simple truth is all countries want illegal immigrants to leave and don't get in the way. However, France has a clear duty of care to these people.
7
@sibitherapplegrumblecribbi529 You think Hitler couldn't tame the debate? Plenty of intelligent people have used violence.
7
'Negative publicity made me so upset I didn't want to live - so I decided to do an interview with Oprah Winfrey and tell lies about the royal family'...
7
We in the UK have a very stupid electoral system that hands too much power to politicians. It is entirely possible for a political party to gain 30% of the national vote and win every seat in parliament.
6
So, let me get this straight Mr Farron, according to you the people of the United Kingdom did not vote to leave the Single Market, because this was not on the ballot paper, but did vote for extra money to go to the NHS, because this was not on the ballot paper.
6
If you're on national TV complaining to the prime minister that you haven’t got a carer - you need a carer.
6
Trump is 100% correct on this. Zelensky should have been told to allow independence referendums in the Donbas and not been given murderous weapons foc.
6
True Brits voted for Britain to be independent. You are probably not old enough to remember what that was like.
6
Things are always getting worse and the reason is 'the political establishment' - the only way to make things better is vote Reform.
6
People die from using alcohol, tobacco, and sugar. Yes, the smugglers chose to traffic the drugs, but also the customers chose to use and buy the drugs. The death penalty is wrong because no matter how painlessly the person is killed the anticipation is torture. Also there is no chance for a retrial if new evidence emerges. It also punishes the family unduly who are innocent of the crime. It has always been my view that the death penalty is worse than murder because the state has no excuse.
