  1.  @thatbird2  Seems very wrong to separate siblings, but the law might just apply to the individual and the legal rights of an individual might be unavoidably compromised (A+B are siblings, B is offered home in fair process - who's to deny B that chance?) It must have been easier knowing your children were together - these days single mums can get help to keep their children. I think in the UK birth parents have no right to information - it's a difficult area.

  2. This sort of thing creates problems where they do not exist. Why harp on about slavery when white people made it illegal it years ago?
