Pointing out propaganda is not propaganda. You remoaners really have nothing except lies and fear. The UK government is quite capable of getting medicines to UK hospitals. If you think something the Leave side has said that is propaganda then say it and I will respond.
2
Are you saying you are unable produce a single lie by the Leave side? OK, then, I will give an example of a Remain lie used repeatedly: 'The EU funds various projects in the UK' ... How can this possibly be true when all the evidence proves the UK funds the EU first?
2
When we leave project fear will dissipate like mountain snow in springtime and the Remain lobby will be left with foot in the door European federalism... Good luck with that!
2
Thatcher banned the IRA from MSM to prevent terrorists using MSM to spread terror for political influence. Now the MSM is spreading terror for political influence.
2
Because, if Remain had won the referendum with 52% there would be no 'democratic approach' for the views of the 48% that had voted to live in an independent UK.
2
@Aaqe You clearly don't understand the difference between a general election and a referendum. Democracy isn't perfect - it's just better than the alternatives. The decision was made to Leave and it cannot be undone without undermining democracy. You have to get your head around the concept that, democracy means everyone doesn't get what they have voted for - but everyone gets what everyone has voted for.
2
Hold on! I thought Donald Tusk was the president of France.
2
@kaba_me There are millions of unemployed and underemployed Brits.
2
@kaba_me I think you mean 'whose jobs' not 'who's jobs' .. Lecture me on politics when you have learned to spell.
2
@hetmanpolnykoronny1918 If you must write English words, then use them in such a way English people will understand what you are trying to say.
2
@jon carley They have been paying decent wages. The Eastern Europeans are not as stupid as you seem to think they are. The reason UK farmers like to employ from Eastern Europe is there is a ready supply of young fit people willing to work when needed. These people on 'poverty wages' are going back to Eastern Europe and paying cash for properties. I don't dislike them or think they are doing anything wrong. I admire them for traveling and working hard. However, the UK government has a responsibility to ensure UK people can get jobs and advertising every UK job to 27 other countries doesn't help.
2
Well, actually we were told it would take ten years to sort out Brexit with the EU - so ahead of schedule and what we voted for.
2
Caspar Lee The opposition is not a part of the government, it's the opposition to the government in parliament. The vast majority of Conservative MPs are not even a part of the government. So you're still a moron.
1
The big unknown is the millions that don't bother voting, because they can't stand what they see as a detached political class serving the elite. They just might see this as their once in a lifetime chance to get one on the establishment.
1
+Harvey Brown Did you see the opinion polls on the 2015 general election? Did you see the odds on the Labour leadership election? I wouldn't be so sure if I was you - and that's coming from someone who collected a nice fat wad betting on Corbyn.
1
Jap2485 'I don't think the British people should stand on their own two feet because it might be difficult'...WTF!
1
Puppy 1975 And we'd save a fortune in out of work benefits, because the employers would employ our unemployed.
1
Freedom Of Speech You can't make assumptive statements about what will happen should the UK leave the EU and then complain because you receive an assumptive reply....It's just not cricket!
1
Not really - 40% of Labour voters voted Leave and they can't stand Corbyn so will probably switch to Tory for hard Brexit.
1
60toodles So explain why the Lib Dems would not have won if the Tories had fielded a candidate.
1
Good point - if we ever have another referendum on the EU - it should be 2/3's majority to change the status quo.
1
JUST DRIVE Exactly it's a joke! Don't just vote out - make sure all your family and friends vote out too.
1
JUST DRIVE It's going to be about turnout. If the europhile media and MPs manage to get opinion to 60% Remain - 40% Leave they still have to get the Remain lot to vote. If opinion is 60% Remain and 40% Leave and Remain get 50% turnout and Leave get 75% turnout - the result is a draw. So Leave must get every Leave voter to put a vote in a ballot box to win.
1
@getupstairstobed Are you saying you did not encourage persuade your friends and family to vote Remain? You people clearly despise democracy, because it allows those with a different opinion to have a say and that, is a fascist trait.
1
+kelly6739 In the 2014 EU election only 35% of those eligible to vote actually voted -12 months later in the 2015 general election 66% of those eligible to vote voted....Doesn't this tell you something?
1
@Xii371 Southern Ireland is not in the UK. Northern Ireland is in the UK. Different law, currency, government, flag, head of state, armed forces...
1
@taintabird23 That's a pretty dumb statement - what are you even saying?
1
+stoufer2000 'millions'? Are you nuts? This 'whole sorry debacle' has cost the nation hundreds of billions and half a century of wasted opportunities! The nation never asked to be part of a united states of Europe!
1
+stoufer2000 It's little wonder the pound dropped in value after 'project fear' and those that gambled the UK's economy for political ends will be brought to book one fine day. If you remember we were told it was a 'once in a generation decision' and we were to look to the 'long term'. The big fear remoaners have is the UK leaving and thriving as an independent trading nation, as all their phoney economic warnings will be proved treacherous.
1
@grassytramtracks Don't be stupid - we have a cost of living crises caused by pandemic and war - good try though (tad desperate)...
1
@markgallagher5908 I was talking about the future Mark - it's what hasn't happened yet. Though, historical facts show us Irish people prefer to emigrate to UK, Can, Aus, NZ. The English hating you allude to is going out of fashion - the young don't get it.
1
@peterdoyle1591 Should be - Southern Ireland has had billions out of the EU that Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland helped pay for.
1
@kimwit1307 It's inevitable - those countries need each other's armed forces.
1
@Captain Planet I don't think the Native Americans wanted the Irish people to settle on their lands, but that didn't stop the Irish then and it doesn't stop the Southern Irish having a museum celebrating it now.
1
@Captain Planet I'm not asking Southern Ireland to join the UK. I said it was a possibility. It's likely the UK will form stronger alliance with Can, Aus, NZ and the people of Southern Ireland might want to be more closely associated with that, than the EU. We are in uncertain times - the future could surprise many.
1
@Centillion001 Healthcare is free in the UK including Northern Ireland - in Southern Ireland they have to pay... Hardly 'oppression'
1
If only I had known a foreign farm owner couldn't employ foreign pepper pickers in the UK - I would never have voted to live in an independent democratic country.
1
@Bush Bushie So, how exactly did the UK people vote to join the EU in 1975 - when the EU did not exist until 1993 - and the UK had joined the EEC in 1973? If you do some research you will discover that you are an idiot 😂
1
@Bush Bushie The UK people did not vote to join the EEC in 1973. The UK was joined to the EEC by a Tory government that had lied in its general election manifesto when it said it would not join.
1
@Bush Bushie Not really, the Maastricht Treaty of 1993 created a new and different organisation called the European Union.
1
@Bush Bushie OK! I agree! But, 'a democracy is not a democracy if the electorate cannot change its mind'. So let's have another referendum in 2057 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
1
@Bush Bushie Sensible people are against second referendums, because if the losing side always got another chance we would be in a constant state of referendum.
1
@questionmark9819 I don't see the message on the red bus as being a lie. Yes, the rebate was not in that figure, but the referendum was about the long-term future "decades to come" (government leaflet) it was the EU billed amount and the UK rebate was up to the EU and not likely to last; also, UK pro-EU activists wanted to end the UK's rebate and pay the full amount. Then we have the money returned in the form of EU-UK payments. The EU referendum was about 'taking back control' so in a 'Brexited Britain' the people through parliament would decide spending priorities 'funding the NHS' could if wished be more important than what the EU payments were being given to - that is called: 'sovereignty'. Then we have 'extra' money for the NHS. Problem here is the statement did not say 'extra' it said 'instead'. If you cancel your gym membership and buy groceries 'instead' with the money you have not used for the gym - you do not have to buy more groceries. This is particularly the case if you are spending more than your income and borrowing to pay the bills - as the UK was at the time of the statement. So, I say 'no lie' just 'good campaigning' by the Leave side. The Remain side however, did lie.
1
@Cłøůðňıňē The UK no longer wastes money on EU membership, as after leaving nothing has changed.
1
Kristine Pauwels Perhaps you should read my comment again.
1
No-deal will lead to no one talking about the EU and everyone getting on with the UK.
1
The president of the USA will not be president of the UK.
1
+grey hound Are you saying that because 'single market' 'free movement' and 'ECJ' were not on the ballot paper then the UK can leave the EU, but still remain subjugate to these things? It did not say '350 billion extra to the NHS' on the ballot paper either, but that doesn't stop you lot claiming people voted for it! Does it?
1
+Craig Brexit I think their plan is to frame a second referendum as in/out, but the actual question will be 'leave but stay in Single Market?Customs Union (The government's preferred safe deal) or leave with no deal (project fear/cliff edge/leap in the dark). They know they have to leave because they can't reverse the straight in/out, but they're desperate for the UK to stay attached to the EU so it could rejoin later. This is because if the UK leaves and is not attached it will become successful as an independent nation and the question of joining the EU again will never resurface.

Best thing would be double UK fish catch and ban all EU fishing vessels from UK waters - plenty of fish for UK consumers - good profits on EU exports - future stock regeneration of UK waters.
