@chriscs9080 Probably did - and NATO has been helping the other side. Just pointing out that western news is very selective about what it's telling people.

@chriscs9080 Me too. I'm just sick of all the death and destruction. I'm not going to cheer at any family losing a loved one.

@chriscs9080 The western media is not giving people the facts. There are 16 million Russian speakers in Ukraine who don't want to be joined to the EU or NATO. There has been civil war in east Ukraine since 2014. The Russian speakers feel discriminated against - the Ukraine government has banned Russian language in schools and on TV. The Ukraine Army ATOV Battalion has extreme neo-Nazi ideology. More than a thousand people have been killed each year since 2014 - this is why Russia has stepped in.

They tried but only Chinese cats would eat it.

The Leave voters understand very well that the UK is going to save the billions in UK-EU contribution and that if the EU doesn’t want buy from UK - then the UK will sell elsewhere - and buy elsewhere as well.
2
***** You should be more specific - if you just don't like him for no reasons - it looks like you've been influenced by the right-wing media.
2
It doesn't work like that. Employers will always choose the most young, strong workers available. Just as the housewife will choose the best apples available. If the greengrocer tops up his apple box with fresh apples each day - the apples at the bottom of the box will rot... I don't want English people to rot to benefit young strong Poles... I want young strong Poles to benefit Poland.
2
Hear the idiot remoaner "Who's going to take your job? What fucking job? ... That's the point stupid!
2
Soon the machines will be building blobs to replace rich people.

+ac1dPink Everyone is entitled to have an opinion - even D Day vets.
1
+ac1dp1nk I agree everyone gets one vote - same goes for Elton John and Gary Lineker.
1
ZeGermanGamer You just lost your case - if you don't buy from us - we don't need you. You sell loads to us - therefore you need us.
1
ZeGermanGamer Typical anti-English nonsense from someone with excellent English skills. It's obvious the reason you have learned English is the same reason you resent the English. The World speaks English and plays English sports, because the world values England's contribution to World culture. I can see why that might be hard for some.
1
So Jeremy Corbyn has always believed the UK should never have been a member of the EU - turns out he was right, as there's no evidence the British people ever wanted the UK to be subsumed into a united states of Europe.
1
You wake up! He's been an MP since 1983 earning a good salary and will have a very good pension. He doesn't get much more for being leader of the opposition and it's a lot more hassle. He is not interested in expensive things, so his life would be very comfortable if he did what the Blairite MPs want and return to the backbench. The reason he's staying put, is because he was elected leader by a membership that wants the Labour Party to adopt policies that will help the working class - which is what it was set up to do.
1
***** So are a lot of people that own their home in London.
1
It's simply not possible that UK universities are dependent on EU funding, as the UK has been contributing more to the EU than the total amount it receives from the EU. UK universities are generally of a higher standard than EU universities, so do not require EU interference and when the EU funding stops the UK government will ensure adequate funds are available.
1
***** The money will come from the UK taxpayer that has been giving the EU the money that the EU has been giving to the UK universities.
1
***** I think it's the Remain voters that will soon realise that it is they that were lied to. Why should the UK pay into the EU? The UK buys more from the EU than the UK sells to the EU.
1
***** I think you've got it mixed up - perhaps you should read my comment again.

@kellymoses8566 All fish has bones - maybe jelly fish don't.

@Olofski22 Nobody - except Julian Assange...
1
@tarro78 Not sure what you mean.
1
@tarro78 I know this. I'm not sure what you are saying to me. If you can say more words I can answer.
1
The UK will leave on Oct 31 2019 and that will be the end of it. The people of the UK will never vote to rejoin. It has all been one big con-trick on the people of the UK by a supercilious minority.
1
We're supposed to be free. We cannot allow the threat of terrorism to prevent democracy... Should we stop celebrating Christmas because Isis has murdered innocent people?
1
@gruntymchunchy1527 Why do you think Brexit would break the GFA? It doesn't even mention 'trade' in the GFA. The only reason there was checkpoints on the border was because Irish were running guns and explosives.
1
@gruntymchunchy1527 There is only an internal border on the island of Ireland because some Irish did not want to be part of a union of other countries... The same people that issued condolences on news of Hitler's death.
1
@gruntymchunchy1527 Britain did not want the border - it's only there because of some Irish people that did not want to be part of a union of other countries... When they got their way they tried to make Irish people stop speaking the English language, but that failed because the Irish wanted to speak English.
1
@gruntymchunchy1527 "The restoration of the unity of the national territory and the restoration of the national language are the greatest of our uncompleted national tasks. Let us devote this year especially to the restoration of the language; let the year be one in which the need for this restoration will be constantly in our thoughts and the language itself as much as possible on our lips." (From Eamon de Valera's Speech to the Nation, broadcast on Radio Éireann, March 17th, 1943.)
1
@gruntymchunchy1527 Apart from 'restoration of the Irish language' meaning people in Southern Ireland speaking the Irish language instead of the English language.
1
@gruntymchunchy1527 So, you're arguing that those advocating the restoration of the Irish language in Southern Ireland wanted the people of Southern Ireland to speak the English language as a first language and for all Southern Irish affairs to be conducted in the English language... Are you one of the thousand Irishmen that turn the house around when a lightbulb is replaced?
1
@gruntymchunchy1527 No wonder you look like that - did the camera break?

1
@gruntymchunchy1527 Yes, I know.. What you don't seem know is that's called 'humour'.
1
There was no border there for millions of years, but some in Ireland did not want to be part of a union other countries.

They (The EU and pro-EU forces in the UK) know they cannot win a second in/out referendum, so have been subjecting the UK people to a propaganda campaign of fear. They want a new treaty between the UK and EU that will prevent the UK becoming the free country its people have voted for and call this 'Brexit'. The idea is they can use political trickery down the road to get the UK back in the EU.
1
For you guys this is true, but for other people the opposite is true. The best way a society can get resolution on different political opinion is for everyone to hear all the arguments and have the electorate vote. This system is called 'democracy' and the only possible alternative is called 'fascism'. Fascism is when some members of society believe their ideas are more justified than opposing ideas and inevitably they impose policies on society by using propaganda and fear. In 2016 the UK had a fair referendum, there was record participation and the result was that the UK should leave the EU. So guys please stop being fascists.
1
Because she's working for the EU.
1
@josefinenilsson8059 That could be to make stupid people think she isn't working for the EU ;o)
1
I think the worst kind of racism is people of one race saying people from another race somehow need special protection from name-calling. It's like they understand some people have reason to be offended when there's no reason at all.
1
+Indiana Taylor lol! So telling people to be polite is your answer to ending racism lol! Good luck with that! lol! how dumb is that? lol!! lmao!! You must be really dumb! lol!!
1
I just see people as people and thus see no need to to make allowances... Big of you to think people not like you need special treatment to make you feel good about yourself.
1
+Josh Witte Yes, I just think that was wrong then and is wrong now and should not be a factor in today's society... It seems this is where we differ.
1
I expect Roseanne is trying to figure that part too - she was probably drunk.
1
Indianna Taylor I'm white British and I cannot be offended by any name about my race because I'm proud to white British. If you are proud to be black American then nothing about your race can offend you. Everyone has to be proud of their race because they can't change this. Some people act as though they are better than you and this can be offensive, but this behaviour is not confined to race - white and black people do it to me and I don't like it. We have to learn to ignore unpleasant people.
1
So how many young UK nationals actually go to live in the EU 27? I ask because I thought it was mostly retired UK nationals that did this.
