Who is saying 'leave Europe behind'? Who is saying 'end migration from Europe into the UK'? Who is saying 'end Western culture'? Europe and Western Culture developed before the EU began. These things are not said by Leave voters and are false strawman arguments.

Two of my kids are now Aus citizens and through them I know around twenty Brits who have emigrated to Aus. I can't think of a single young person I know who has moved to the EU27 yet, I've met hundreds of EU27 nationals working in UK. The only Brits I know living in the EU27 are spending their UK pensions there. Seriously, were you ever going to live in the EU27?

There are 'thousands' of Brits in every major city in the world and there are Brits on every skiing resort in the world including the Swiss Alps which are not in the EU. So, what has this got to do with the UK being in the EU? The simple fact is there are estimated three million EU27 nationals in the UK pushing UK nationals out of jobs and around a million UK nationals in the EU27 - most of these people are retired and creating employment by spending their UK pensions and savings there.

Yes, it's a bit easier to travel with free movement, but there are ski resorts in North America and Brits go to these resorts too (with a thing called a 'visa'). "We need immigration" well, perhaps we do, but we do have a serious unemployment problem, so that must be a reason for stopping uncontrolled unskilled immigration. Why will we only have to look to other countries? The idea of Brexit is that, the UK government will be making all UK law and therefore will be able to allow people from anywhere to live and work in the UK if this is beneficial to the UK. Are you saying the EU will not allow EU citizens to live and work in the UK? You appear to be arguing that, after Brexit there will be more UK job vacancies and less opportunity for Brits... Which doesn't make sense.

You said it - worse off than previous generations - when we were not in the EU. Before we were joined to the EU a single unskilled wage could keep a family and buy a house and we were only taxed on spending when we bought luxury goods. After almost half a century of EU, both parents have to work and claim benefits to feed and clothe the kids, we cannot dream of buying a home and have to pay VAT on almost everything we buy. No wonder we voted to leave at the first opportunity.

I don't know if you've ever been to North America, but when I first went (in 2000) I went into a petrol station and paid to have my mate's car filled up (you have to pay first over there) the guy charged me 15 dollars which was around 8 quid at the time. I thought he had made a mistake, but my mate said that's right I've filled it up. He was living there and earning 20 dollars an hour painting houses, so could fill his car with petrol for less than an hour's pay. I was in Australia last summer and it costs around 50 dollars to fill a car - that's 2 hours pay flipping burgers. In the UK it costs more than a day's pay at minimum wage to fill a car with petrol. I don't understand why you seem to think this is so great.
