I agree - she would be aware that many people who voted for pro-EU parties would vote to leave the EU in a referendum - same as in the UK.

@Charlie_Crown It's just political tactics - no point handing your opponents free ammunition to use against you. On a single issue vote half of EU citizens could easily vote to leave the EU. Remember before the campaigns the clever people believed the UK would vote +60% to stay in the EU... You say 'hoodwinked' why were these gullible people not hoodwinked by the £9m government leaflet? I suppose in reality many were. Perhaps had that leaflet not blatantly lied about the true intentions of pro-EU activists to eventually join the UK to the eurozone - the win would have been even greater for Leave.

@Charlie_Crown The bus did not lie. The £350m figure was taken from EU documents - it was the EU's own figure. The rebate was up to the EU not the UK and those pro-EU activists asking people to vote Remain did not want the UK rebate. We were advised this decision was for the long-term. Of course any money not given to the EU would be used on the NHS instead - and the NHS gets more than £350m each week and now we have to borrow less. The bus is nowhere to be seen, because the referendum campaign is over and the message is no longer relevant - also it costs money to have advertising on buses. Saying 'the bus was a lie' was a lie made up by the pro-EU activists that tried to overturn the Brexit vote. The lie I referred to was the £9m (over fair campaign spending limit) government leaflet that stated: "We will not join the euro" when it was obviously the EU policy for the UK to adopt the euro. Are you telling me Clegg, Blair. Adonis. Branson, Ashdown, Izzard, Starmer and the rest of the quisling loons were against the UK joining the euro? Funny they never mentioned this...

@Charlie_Crown You almost made me doubt my understanding of basic English - so I checked with the Oxford Dictionary "1.1instead of As a substitute or alternative to; in place of" So, not getting where you get 'EXTRA' from.

Your hairdresser should have realised he couldn't cut hair any longer and retired years ago.
