What do you think FOM allowing unrestricted access for low-skilled EU27 workers to bid for UK employment and housing did? I wonder if 7 million (10% of the UK population - let alone the UK workforce) EU27 workers in the UK made getting a UK job easier, UK wages higher and UK housing more available and affordable?

@EGF1000 The EU27 workers are still here because more than 6 million have applied for settled status. I didn't say they didn't contribute to the UK - I said they made jobs harder to get and lower paid and housing harder to get and higher cost. You seem to be starting a disagreement with yourself - not me...

@annmonica2253 Yes, but 200 years ago there were less than 10 million people in Britain - now there's probably 70 million. The point I was making is 'too much' immigration causes hardship for working class people.

Imagine how many more people would have voted for Brexit had the pro-EU activists been honest about their wish to join the UK to the euro... The UK Gov pro-EU leaflet (paid for by the people and £9m over the fair spending rule) stated: "We will not join the euro" of course the idea was to later claim this only referred to the Cameron 2015 government. Odd, the single currency is a flagship policy of the EU - yet no Remain campaigners mentioned it...

@susannehartl3067 Are you saying no one in the UK agreed with the EU single currency policy? The EU expects all member states to adopt the euro.

How's that going to happen - when they couldn't even persuade the country to stay in? This 're-join referendum' with Lord Adonis on a bus with 'Let's give the UK to Brussels' on the side - you think people will vote for that?
