@frank-caroltrott6131 So, are you a citizen of a European Union and if not why not as you have had the oppotunity? I susspect what you really mean is you want to force all UK nationals to become citizens of a European Union...

There were no lies on the Leave side. If you somehow think so, then cite any Leave statement verbatim and explain with evidence why you believe it to be 'a lie'. For clarity, 'a lie' is a 'knowingly false statement intended to mislead'. An example of 'a lie' would be "We will not join the euro" (UK Gov referendum leaflet) when it was the known ambition of those campaigning for a Remain win to join the UK to the euro...

@jamesarnold7253 Is your argument that, had the UK people been allowed to vote on joining the EU in 1993 (when many more of what you refer to as 'old people' were alive), the Brexit majoity would have been much greater than it was in 2016?

@jamesarnold7253 What are you going to put on your rejoin bus - 'Let's Give The EU £30 Billion A Year And Join The Euro' LOL!!

@leod-sigefast Why do people wave the EU flag (Star Spangled Sphincter)?

@philthrelfall5294 The Leave campaign did not make any promises. The 2016 referendum was not a general election - neither side had a manifesto of policies. The big problem has been those who campaigned for a new political future and won the support of the people were not given the opportunity to deliver that future.

@BoyeeSmudger The EU is a dictatorship - you can tell this by the smug grins on the leader's faces. There is no true democracy, because there are 27 nations with different domestic news and languages. Meanwhile the EU goes unscrutinised by those it rules over.

@ellaj8912 Who's 'they'? It's not those that campaigned to leave the EU - is it?
1
@ellaj8912 Yep, I think 'this' and 'they' are political terms too explicit for me to understand...
1
@ellaj8912 You actually think 'this' and 'they' are 'explicit political terms' LOL!

@ellaj8912 How's the 'people's vote' going?

Isn't 'the GE' about 'sovereignty?
