Should keep in mind Tories have won on loaned votes to deliver Brexit.

@jamesberry8499 There was a referendum in 2014 and Scotland voted to stay a part of the United Kingdom. In 2016 the United Kingdom voted by referendum not to stay a part of the European Union. You can't want a referendum based on the reasoning you don't respect the outcomes of referendums.

@stecrossley3911 Labour is going to have to ditch their ideas about the UK being in the EU as re-joining is a political dead duck. At the next GE there will be no other alternative to the Tories and a lot of people are against the Tories. Agreed, they're a shambles completely out of touch with the people they need to vote for them.

@jamesberry8499 Loads of positives to Brexit - you would probably not see these as positives - but that's why we had the referendum - to stop a minority imposing their ideas on us.

@paw7110 Brexit was the only reason Labour lost. In simple terms: In 2015 GE 4m voted UKIP. In 2016 ref 5m Lab voters voted Leave. In 2017 GE Tories believed the 2015 GE UKIP vote would go Tory, but it went 50/50 Lab/Con. In 2018 half of that 2015 GE UKIP vote realised Lab was against Brexit and in 2019 1m Lab 2016 Leave voters agreed. This makes up the drop of 3m in the Labour vote at the 2019 GE. If you like I will point you to my comments saying exactly this before the 2019 GE.

@paw7110 You have me there! There's not going to be a stat to accurately explain your vote without some more information. I would say this: In 2017, when people believed MPs would have to deliver Brexit, Corbyn came very close to winning with a very similar left-wing agenda. The only thing that changed was Labour MPs began opposing Brexit.
