  1. I remember my Dad saying in the 70s/80s/90s that 'Europe' would eventually bring about the end of the Conservative Party. Reform UK are currently polling 10% (much more in some constituencies) and are not standing down at the next GE - so it's possible many Conservative MPs will have a big decision to make. In 2015 UKIP gained 12.6% of the national vote and 1 MP, whereas, SNP gained 4.7% of the national vote and 56 MPs. That 'democratic' anomaly was brushed over by painting UKIP voters to be 'out of touch loons' not representing 'the people' on a major policy issue. At the next GE Reform UK will be able to say 'We actually represent what 52% of the people voted for' and point out their 'Brino' problems directly to the electorate.
