'Brexit' isn't a 'happening thing' it is the act of the UK ceasing to be a member of the EU that occurred within one second in Jan 2020, the consequence of which is the UK being an independent country. If a woman legally ended her marriage, it would be inappropriate and weird for her ex-husband to refer to her new life as being a continual state of 'divorced from him'.

If that is your belief then you need to deal with it. Dwelling on past events and wishing they had not occured is a pathway to mental instability. You could start by exploring the possibility people with different opinions to yours are not hoodwinked.

@heidifuller9964 Because I believed (and still believe) that the vast majority of UK people want UK laws to be made in the UK and want to keep the pound.

@jimjiminy5836 Have you watched the video of the thirty rejoin protests held on 24 March this year? Because, there was an average of ten people at each event. This is not an issue that can be measured in words of 'good' or 'bad', because obviously that would be far too simplistic. What we can measure is the desire of the UK people to be citizens of a federal Europe with common currency.

@heidifuller9964 So, you are now saying you wanted the UK to join the eurozone. But, you did not object when the UK government promised the UK people "We will not join the euro" Were you and the UK government deceiving the UK people people about your real vision for the UK?
