  1. Brexit did not 'divide the UK' if you look at the initial protests there was only a handful of people not accepting the result. It was only because politicians/media and celebrities like Eddie refused to accept the democratic will of the people that, anti-Brexit feeling grew. This resulted in marches of 'one million people' that were in reality 300 000 people made up of political activists, EU27 nationals, dragged along children and ahead of its time social distance gaps.

  2. I think Dylan said some things in his early encounters with the press that he wished he hadn't - so he quickly developed a surreal persona that was unassailable. It's also obvious that he didn't like his songs being 'explained' or his spoken words taken out of context, as a writer he was well aware of how words are used. Really, his work was commenting on a society, that included the media, in a way that transcended that society commenting on his work. It got a point where all he could tell them in a crazy way was: 'You represent what I'm attacking - so I can't be a part of it.'
