Very virtuous of her not to be accepting free clothes a few months after cramming her wardrobe with £7.5k worth of free clobber...

Richard's face when George says: 'And I have cuttings on you too' - lol!

It's not biased because the independent regulator supports Labour.

Only Starmer can take the sparkle out of glitter.

Does it not occur to Caroline Flint that, older less strong UK workers cannot compete for work with the millions of young immigrants being allowed into the country? 7.5 million EU citizen applications for UK settled status is more the 10% of the UK population - nevermind the UK workforce.

He was using the car as a weapon against police and it was reasonable for the police to believe there was a firearm in the car, so it was reasonable for police to believe bullets were about to come of the car. Sometimes you only get one split-second chance to save your own and the life of another. It's a very sad end to a young life, but police cannot be at fault for protecting themselves against possible death.

Was wondering how he looked so good after all those bricks hitting him on the head - turns out it was a stuntman.

Somebody just told me about a private school cancelling a new roof contract that was out to tender, and they said the school is going to reduce its fees and lay off some full time maintenance staff. So, not sure how this is going to make Labour supporters feel happy.

Anyone wondering how Ukraine started the war? There was civil war in Eastern Ukraine from 2014 - 2022 when ethnic Russians voted to leave Ukraine and join Russia. Why did this happen? In 2013 the EU approached Ukraine with treaty to associate/trade with EU. This was rejected because Ukraine government wanted to maintain links with Russia. This divided Ukraine people and civil war kicked off between those wanting to join EU and ethnic Russian speaking people wanting to stay with Russia. In 2014 the pro-Russian Ukraine government was overthrown and replaced with pro-EU government. Russia invaded Crimea and held referendum and the people chose Russia over Ukraine. The new Ukraine government banned Russian language in education, employment and on TV. The civil war continued in East Ukraine. In 2022 Russia invaded East Ukraine as a peacekeeping force protecting ethnic Russians stopping the civil war. Russia held referendums and the people of East Ukraine chose to be with Russia. The Ukraine government had a choice whether to respect the democratic wish of the people living in the disputed territory or start an unwinnable war against Russia. Ukraine chose to start the war.

I remember my dad telling me in the 1970s/80s/90s that 'Europe' would ultimately split the Conservative Party in two - looks like it's about to happen...

The fact a dog has not attacked before is irrelevant. The point is these dogs have the capacity to kill a child and the brain of a dog which makes them an unacceptable danger. If dogs could fire shotguns, would we give dogs shotguns? Why should a person's wish to take a dangerous dog into public spaces be greater than a child's wish not to be exposed to a dangerous dog?

In what way?

@Dcc-yk2lo See, there's me thinking Brexit has been great in every way - I suppose we will just have to have a vote about it - Oh, we did have a vote about it and your ideas about the UK being ruled by Brussels lost...
10
@aaronthebest5519 Not being in the EU.

Starmer stands for: 'Keep the working people off the rich people's money'
8
Never believe what people say they do - just see what they do do.
7
Why would boats leaving from France land in Wales or Scotland? Did you skip geography?
5
@Europhile Don't forget the 'national' (lol) rejoin march in London tomorrow. Probably look more like a queue for information on how to find the march...
4
When you are stood in the voting booth, ask yourself if you really want to vote for five million more immigrants by the next generation...

A horse needs both hay and water to exist. Hay and water are not the same, but are of equal importance. Men and women are not the same, but are of equal importance. For a marriage to exist one spouse must give way or it's not a marriage. The only question is: Do we want marriage to be the foundation of society - or should we work toward a different kind of society? If we want a society built on marriage, then we should respect marriage, not rubbish it.

@wolfyoogames Doesn't that ultimately depend on everyone accepting the result when people have voted? The alternative would seem to be having a referendum every 6 months...

For Labour supporters now wondering why the media has started asking Keir Starmer difficult questions. This is because during general elections the media must by law show a balanced approach. Both Conservative and Labour will have specialist people monitoring each channel's campaign coverage for any evidence of bias.

@antispindr8613 Playing the 'nothing to do with me' card still works for the virtue signalling fools...

"I'm a Northern lass - you're not getting the better of me!"

Let's get real. Biden/EU/UK started this war and made it worse. Now different leaders are trying to end it.

I didn't know about Michelle Dewberry, but I admire the way she successfully disarmed GMB's obvious attempted hatchet-job on a media rival. She's right in saying it was one mistake and GB News is dealing with it correctly. I have started watching her show on GB News. What I particularly like about Michelle is her willingness to listen to all sides and her working class 'shoot-from-the-hip' common sense. The way the news media has evolved; it feels like we are all confined to a dark room being told what to think. Now, because of GB News giving real people like Michelle a chance - it's like there's a chink of light and a wisp of breathable air.

You can just tell Ed was up all night doing his 'journalistic research'...

The wallpaper was for a state owned residence - so not really a personal gift like clothes, glasses, tickets to concerts...
2
@arge6396 It was all about Brexit - the MSM were angry and wanted to get Boris and the Tories. If Remain had won and Cameron was PM and did the exact same thing in Downing Street during lockdown; a pro-EU civil servant would not have sent out invites to a party and we would've never heard about a 'birthday cake'.
2
@simoncox9689 There must be something wrong or the police would not have reopened the case. A married couple can only have one home property for which tax will not owed on profit made by selling the property.
2
Taking it away just before winter is extra cruel. If Labour told old people in spring they were going to have less money in winter they could have cut back on food/days out etc. to put a little by for the winter fuel bills.
2
@kathythompson2434 There are 68.5m people in the UK and 9.7m people voted Labour - so 86% did not vote Labour.
2
@sueburgess847 Are you saying (in your unedited comment) that teachers in UK private schools earn more than the prime minister (£172k).
2
@lf67hh28 It's not really a 'free country', because there are things called 'laws' made in relation to public safety, that we must obey. You are entitled to your opinions, but others are equally entitled to disagree with you.
2
@lf67hh28 I'm not an expert on existing dog law, but the subject of this debate is whether new dog law should be introduced to reduce attacks on people. There are laws in place to deal with neglect of children. The problem with your argument, is children have been attacked by dogs at home and in public places when accompanied by a responsible adult.
2
@lf67hh28 Problaby, need some laws though - just until the animal take over...
2
"Do you think it's sincere or just formality" Even she sees Starmer can't be trusted.
2
I think this is unfair because millions of people are used to having someone else vote for them...
2
Judy's surgeon has worked wonders..
2
How many times did we hear remoaners longing for a future when the old people had died off? Any news on remoaner plans for votes for 16 year olds?
2
Starmer and his henchmen blame the pensioners for Brexit.
2
Starmer is going to drop videos of Lammy's Mastermind performance on Russian troops and attack while they're too cracked up to fire back?
1
For decades our politicians have been working toward the UK being part of a federal Europe. Now they have been forced to take the UK out of the EU they don't know what to do. The UK needs a strong government that actually wants a successful independent UK.
1
That Labour person saying about 'flies on the other commentator' was crass gutter humour...
1
This is not the answer - we need to vote out the people responsible.
1
@simoncox9689 Statements from the neighbours will be crucial.
1
I think the reason Trump has called Zelensky a dictator is because Zelensky failed to recognise his democratic power did not extend over people in the Donbas region. So, when Russia moved in and organised independence referendums, Zelensky chose to ignore the democratic wish of the Donbas people and decided to fire antitank missiles at Russian troop convoys.
1
Don't blame Labour voters - educate them.
1
Same reason Starmer doesn't want a referendum when 57% want to rejoin the EU - it's propaganda.
1
Millions abandoned the Tories because the anti-UK independence MSM propagandised a birthday cake at a time of national difficulty. However, these people are not Labourites - they might tell pollsters they will vote Labour because Labour is the only alternative. Now there is an exciting new pro-UK independence party to vote for.
