  1. As someone who voted Leave in 2016, I have been in favour of a second referendum since it has become clear the political elite has refused to accept the 2016 result. There should be another referendum with the following conditions: The question shall be: Should the UK leave the EU to become an independent country? Yes [ ] No [ ]. The government shall not declare a position. The parties must not declare a position. MPs must declare a position. An equal number of MPs shall be appointed to campaign for each side. All other MPs shall limit campaigning to constituency level. Any MP on the losing side must resign their parliamentary seat. I think the Leave side has made a huge mistake in not calling the elite's bluff, as people have learned more about the EU and there is now even more reasons to vote for the UK to Leave the EU. Let's face reality, if the pro-EU political establishment actually believed it could reverse the 2016 result - it would be holding a second in/out vote.
