This really smacks of all the same factors as the Smollet case recently in the US.... question for 'maori': IF it's really that bad to be maori, why oh why would you identify with, lets be honest in most cases its 1/15th, such a minuscule aspect of your ancestry??? Its outright bizarre, just identify as european and surely you'll be fine, but no race card..... 🤣

@riooo508 never in my comment did I claim "it is bad to be maori" its up there, unedited, go back and read it again. Identifying as european comes with many disadvantages in Aotearoa, first one comes to mind, smear tests. If you are maori (or pacifica) you get fully funded smear tests, but IF you are not you are paying... This is one of a multitude of just health services free to myself if I claim to be 'maori' which I dont btw I am too embarrassed these days...

@elraxomcgoutfoot9625 get a grip, I cant be asked wasting my time researching for you, if you dont believe me or haven't personally experienced it then its no skin off my or anyone elses nose what you think, you are entitled to your opinion! Its been all over the news lately about elective surgeries, I pointed out the cervical screening stuff from my own experience and I know of several other cases such as prostate screening and mammogram services from talking with my own whanau. muahahah? what are you like 10? 🤦‍♂
