  3. 1/2 of 1% Wall St. speculation tax that Bernie is talking about - FIRST needs to be much more defined. Second, how can get this done? One half of one percent is 0.005, so if you sell your retirement stocks for a million dollars that is $5000. There needs to be some way to fold this into a tax plan for all Americans ... like adding it to the income tax, and fixing the income tax by taxing earned income and investment income at the same rate. Bill DeBlasio and I think Elizabeth Warren have been the only ones to say that so far. Then make the resulting tax rate dependent on income. So if you are poor, you pay no taxes, if you are middle class you pay something like we currently pay, maybe a little less considering the income from investment income increases, and then if you are rich you pay more and if you are Jeff Bezos or Bill Gates you pay on your highest income maybe 70% ... for anything over say $20 million. The oligarchs like the Koch Brothers will roll out the machine guns before they allow that to happen to them because they feel like the own the country and all of us too.
