  1. Why is this guy being given a political platform to talk from ... he's a magician? I am getting sick of celebrities and billionaires ... just give me some normal American guy or gal who has a vision of America everyone can relate to and shove these failed celebrities back to their magic shows and TV series - they are all idiots who are paid by very rich people to exploit the positive feelings people get when they watch them in the media. This is sick.

Like the first communists in Russia, thinking they were going to establish paradise on Earth, they got taken and then taken over by hardline tyrants, and that is exactly what would happen with a Libertarian United States .... we would quickly be fascist because without a strong powerful representative government the rich and their corporations would take over everything.

  3. The problem is that you cannot have freedom and justice without the law and the law is essentially regulation. The law has to look at people's behavior or what is happening and react as best it can to support policies that support the little guy. You will never get that in Libertarianism because there is no method for that to happen, it is just survivale of the biggest and strongest ... why do you think that the richest people are usually Libertarians, like the Koch Brothers for example, and others. They would benefit to a whole other degree from having the government unable to interfere with whatever they want to do.

  4. True, Franken got elected, somehow he did it, but it doesn't make him equivalent to PJ. I guess personally I take Franken more seriously because he had to do it the old fashioned way, without the Orwellian 1984 propaganda machine of the Internet. Americans have been programmed like Pavlov's dogs to take a slick set and talking heads in suits seriously in some way and we see that on You-Tube because it is so cheap. I don't know what reason TV is, but I do not know it is some private entity, trying to play on our every subconscious habit to get us to take it seriously. This whole idea of calling something Reason TV but it is really Libertarianism, is a kind of brain-dead attempt at association. Call it Libertarian something TV ... this is persuasion, not reason.

I know how to spell fascism ... > If you can't even spell fascism, I'm not so sure I should take your surmising about libertarianism turning into it seriously. But. if you are unsure, then don't take my post seriously, which of course would mean you would not reply to it ... but you did. You simply chose the chickenshit way to reply that has no there there.
