The answer is yes. But I think they've taken that into consideration. If you look far enough in any direction and collect enough light it seems like there is something there. Have you seen the famous (HUDF) Hubble telescope's Ultra Deep Field Image that shows hundred of galaxies, not star systems, galaxies in a small part of the sky? Look it up, it is amazing. I'm sure this will just show more stuff, and in different spectra.

@edouardmontfort7816 LOL, actually though, it's the opposite. Methane is stable only on a primordial planet with no life. There is methane, and ammonia, and carbon dioxide, primordial gasses. If life evolved it will generate oxygen which will react to remove the methane from the atmosphere ... and that is how you tell there is life. Because oxygen will react, so if it is present it must be being renewed - by life.
