Ukraine was committing far more crimes against its own people, and for the last 8 years. War is the crime, and provoking war is what the Ukrainians did by ramping up shelling in Feb of 2022 of the Donbas to force Russia's hand. Now they are paying the price. It is Ukraine that is killing or castrating Russian soldiers, and killing ethnic Russian civilians in the Donbas. It was the West that refused to negotiate and playing this little game to force Russia's hand - and still it did not work with over half the world. What a gamble with millions of people's lives, and the safety of the whole world. The world cannot continue like this.
