  2. venezuela is complicated. you either have a venezuelan running things or you have it as a vassal state of the use. it sucks to be stuck in that situation, but that is the problem. blame the us for past, present and future venezuelan dysfunction. the government of venezuela itself, like most small countries is not trained or competent to resist of the USA, or any major super-powers financial tendrils of corruption.
