The shoddy case was against Bill Clinton. There is a real case here, and you'd see that in spades if the Senate could do a secret ballot.

Of course Trump has a the right to a defense, and don't blame Democrats for anything to do with that because it is up to Mitch McConnnell. What kind of defense do you expect Trump will put on though when he has forbidden anyone who works for him to testify? How is it you land on that silly question and not the question of how forbidding testimony of principle witnesses by Trump is not obstruction of justice?

@billypardew2337 I not only mention the Constitution, I capitalize it. It is true, there are things that Democrats may want to change things about the Constitution that need change, but they go about it in a legal and Constitutional way, while Republicans just bypass it altogether in the dark, not to mention remove voters from the rolls and try to manipulate elections.
