Single Payer was shot down in CA by the Democrats ... it is an interesting story. Not so easy to do, and especially now that the TRUMP has the federal government sucking up most of CA tax money.

At least Bill Maher has the guts to put on a show where people can talk freely instead of one guy just blabbering nonsense. I find myself disagreeing with Bill, and his guests, but that is the problem in the country ... no one can agree or come to a consensus .... and at least Bill Maher helps that a little. Why are people so negative about a guy who has something to say. Same with David Brooks ... I disagree with him on most things, but he is not Hannity or Limbaugh, and he makes some intelligent points. What is wrong with the Left that it cannot hear anything before it judges it and flips out. But I will agree this was an extremely irritating and frustrating show to watch. But Bill was right about voting for Hillary. To me he said it in a very obnoxious way that made me pretty hate it in those moments, but let the man have his opinions. It was hard, virtually impossible for me to give up on Bernie myself, but in the end he was not on the ballot and Hillary was and was one of two that had a chance.

Bill has had a few good shows in the last few years, but in general I agree, his shows have been boring and pointless in the main, and the same guest always, no new ideas and a lot of stupid. Still, he comes from a good place and has a few good shows and ideas.

The problem is not that we can never have a Progressive as a nominee, the problem is that obnoxious, spoiled cretins like the audience here do not have the brains, the grit and the determination to work for it sensibly, all they do is whine. They do not really study history, all they do is study TV and You-Tube crazies, and they cannot agree or compromise on anything. They do not know what it is they really want, or what is really in their grasp.
