> Not being in debt and having good food to eat. Yeah man! That is 99% of a good life.

@welderfixer I have a stackable Kenmore, the old Sears brand. I've had it for about 20 years and it has never given me any problem. It was cheap ( relatively ) plain, not fancy, works great. I also have a Honda car that is 23 years old and has never failed to start or broken down in almost 200,000 miles. I have a 55" ( I think ) 4K Samsung TV with a fantastic picture that cost under $500 and is over 10 years old and has never had a problem. This Sh*tification idea is what is broken. For the most part things are a lot better today than they used to be. I have also bought Levis jeans and have never paid $50 for them. Maybe the problem is too many trolls on YT. The Sh*tification idea based on someone having one foulup from a Russian seller on Amazon, not even Amazon itself is what is ridiculous.

Made to last, yes, but when you look at power consumption that may not be the right choice these days. Like American cars from the 1980s are far less fuel efficient than cars today.

Doesn't it seem funny to you that you can use the S-word in a video, but if I say it in a comment I am likely to censored, or put in time out or even banished from YT. YT has the S-iest moderation on the Internet.

@WestTechLol Exactly, and electricity bills are only going to go up.

@The_10th_Man People don't want to hear it because it's not true, it's total BS. And it's refrigerator.

For the light alarm clock, i've found that setting my iPhone to gently wake me up by increasing the volume of a non-jarring alarm sound - works pretty good. It might be too easy to hide my head under the pillow and ignore the light.

That's the truth ... I don't even go out to eat in restaurants anymore unless I can see them making whatever it is they are making, like Chipotle, etc. They put too much salt in food, they use additives and cook stuff in pans that have toxic forever chemicals in them. No thanks!

Good job

For every video like yours complaining that Levis jeans are shoddy there will be someone who claims they don't fade and rip fast enough for them to be cool because they don't want to pay $100 for pre-faded, pre-ripped jeans. That's why I've learned finally when I see something I like, or buy something that works for me - I always get another or a few more of them because you never know what is going to happen in the future supply chain with our predatory capitalism. I remember buying a really nice heavy cotton long sleeve V-neck T-shirt ... almost a sweater or super high-quality at Banana Republic when they were first a thing. I loved that shirt ... now they don't make anything as good as that at any price, and I cannot find anywhere else that does. I just found some winter-weight merino wool sweaters that are really nice. $170 bucks, but anything cheaper after a few wearings gets these holes in them and starts to fall apart. Good luck with finding jeans that better fit your back crotch-bum-thigh area. ; -)

Liter? Where are you located?

Just FYI, don't know how I got to this video, but over on the right side of the page the whole column is filled with videos that are also entitled "Why Looking Poor Is So Important". Is this a movement or something?

Hahahaha ... I beat you. My car is 22 years old, and I have an iPhone7Plus. I agree with so much of what you say, but it is what we think everyone else is thinking/doing that irks us so much. Cheers.

@dkhnova Yeah, that's just what I meant.

@lejoshmont2093 I don't believe there is a decrease in reliability.

@drozcompany4132 I hate to waste time even replying to someone who thinks there are people throwing away refrigerators every few years. Most refrigerators last 20 years or more without incident. Bu-bye

@drozcompany4132 Dippy, I am not acting like anything. I had a Honda car in the 70s that got 50mpg ... so what? At $5500 I wish I could buy it again.

@perkypat2214 I did catch that, but you cannot take it with you everywhere you go. You could probably get Alexa or one of those AI assistants to do that, not that I think Alexas are a good idea.
