I think Pakman is way, way wrong about immigration, where his basic argument seems to be that if we open the immigration flood-gates it would not be that much of a problem because most people don't want to come to the US.
Even if that true, which it does not seem to be because the numbers are in the tens of millions, there is the question of the actual character of the people coming here, and what they and their descendents do over time.
For example Muslims have a history that we are being shielded from of coming to a new place, building up numbers, not melting into the socieity, and in fact trying to change it as we see now in the UK.
I disagree with Pakman on that discussion ... around 47:00
His argument is absurd when he says that if you look at an average country, maybe ONLY 10% of those people would want to come to the US ... which is essentially saying 10% of the rest of the world ... my jaw just hit the ground. If the population of the world is being conservative 8 billion, 10% of that would be 800 millions people, or almost three times the population in the US today ... almost. That is insane. I wonder what he would say about that now ... I did not realize this was two years ago.
