  1. Well, it could be he was a postal worker, and saw the orphan package on the steps and thought someone might steal it, so he grabbed it and kept it in his car. Maybe he was a thief, or maybe he was going to take back the next day? For theft you have to prove intent.

  3. I'm with you .... 10,000 years ago ... not too much today in Muslim dominated Egypt. I can see why they would not want people climbing the pyramids. Having climbed a comparatively very small pyramid in Mexico a slip and fall would be fatal past about 40 feet up. I don't really see how he could damage the pyramids, but I don't think he meant disrespect ... in fact that is pretty respectable to want to share that experience with the world, where Egypt keeps all photos carefully hidden and offline.

  15. Krim .... thanks for pointing that out. Could the package have already been opened and left there by theives who considered whatever was in it to be not worth taking? Even so, at this point I think it is the least to do to fire this guy from the Post Office. I'd go back and monitor his phone to see if he got a call from other Postal Workers telling him to grab the package.

  22. OK, just saying it might be possible. Consider ... maybe the package was left on the porch all day in a bad neighborhood where a lot of packages go missing. Could he tell what the delivery company was? If the lights were off in the house. maybe someone was on vacation? So, if you were a concerned citizen you might pick the package up knowing it was to be delivered. How could somone tell? Was the package in his car unopened, or was it in his house opened and being used? Admittedly, it is likley the guy is a thief ... so look at his background ... maybe seach his house for other packages. Then what do you do if he is an exemplary citizen with no arrests or crimes?

  25. Why do they not explain exacty what happened. It sounds like they were down inside a deep hole that had been dug or dug before them, and the water either sloshed inside or the water level rose and they could not get out. That seems like a lack of adult or beach supervision.
