  1. I'm with you .... 10,000 years ago ... not too much today in Muslim dominated Egypt. I can see why they would not want people climbing the pyramids. Having climbed a comparatively very small pyramid in Mexico a slip and fall would be fatal past about 40 feet up. I don't really see how he could damage the pyramids, but I don't think he meant disrespect ... in fact that is pretty respectable to want to share that experience with the world, where Egypt keeps all photos carefully hidden and offline.

  2. You'd be dead ... a flying suit needs a near vertical drop to build up speed at launch ... that means smack into the very hard rocks of the pyramid.
