  1. these kinds of studies are really skewed. you would need to find a reason to eat worms. i probably would not eat anything in a situation like that, unless i was compensated in some way ... then comparing the compensation between people still would not mean much because you do not really know how much they need the money. maybe i am really rich and asking me to eat worms for $10 is not really an incentive. I am dubious about this kind of study because they don't know what it means really

  2. baloney ... it is a short step from disease to looking at anything else as something to be disgusted about. mothers have to deal with diapers so transferring disgust to women is another example. i had this think called a pygogenic granuloma on my finger once, it was gross like the picture but much smaller and is gone now. we need to have a attitude like kids who show each other their cuts. there is nothing wrong with being sick or poop ... it is a critical part of the ecosystem

  3. 8:58 ... why is America not included in the "disgust" graph? It's funny that Asians are so programmed to be disgusted by germs they buy all this anti-bacterial stuff that is actually bad for them and reduces their exposure and ability of the body to recognize and neutralize germs. Something about the liberal democracies seems to view these things or some things as human. I think one has to be careful to think this is the last work or definitive comment on anything.

  4. this is like the pretense of being god and nothing disgusting or worldly can touch you ... obviously false. men take power over women because women are more associated with menstruation and cleaning up poop and vomit. this is just another trick we use to screw with each other. the indian untouchable example is a really inhuman example of this. this is wrong and is nothing less than destructive social programming.

  8. If a doctor feels disgust about disease they are in the wrong profession. These attitudes are implanted in us just like the attitudes against Jews was in Germany. It is very significant that Asians are the group most reactive to disgust and also the most regiment ed and controlled groups. This disgust is based on ignorance. For example poop is fertilizer, good for the environment, and disease is not something people can control - and do not want to feel is disgusting when sick.
