  1. justgivemethetruth I do agree what the US and West are arrogant, and aggressive, but that also could be understood somewhat by the urgency of world rule or law standards and human rights. It is just that, and the Chinese are right, the the US talks about human rights when it wants to push its economic agenda - so, there is plenty of room or misunderstanding and mistrust.

First, I think it must be said that the Chinese SAY they think this ... whether it is true or not we can never know what the Chinese think, and in order to justify actions such as military belligerence and expansion there must be some myth, some proposed reason and logic to it. Yes ... the US is arrogant and expansionist and probably does seek to put China into the Western economic system ... but why?  It is to conquer China or is it to get past these military threats of world war that the US was sucked into twice in the last century, and to China's benefit since they were swallowed up by Japan. The real history of the world sort of puts a bit of suspicion on what the Chinese say.  Same with Iran, Iran justifies its interference and hegemony in the Middle East and its antipathy towards the US and Israel because they say they are humiliated, or have been threatened, but really, who on a daily basis threatens the people of the Middle East more, the US or their own government and intolerant and repressive religion.  I think it is the same with China.  China has notions of being the old Chinese empire and regaining their stature in the world, and not only that, but the Chinese in China and elsewhere are really racist and insular.   They work only with Chinese. While the US and the West (albeit imperfectly) have changed their societies to be multi-cultural, there is no such idea in China.  No, it is clear that most of the world thinks in old ways of empire and conquest.  The US with its own problematic past at least is one country that can hope to become working and multicultural, but it cannot be as cultures fighting each other like gangs, and what is what China does in the world, and Chinese do in the countries they settle in.  As people in the Phillipines or other countries what their experience with Chinese is.  They are rude, arrogant and everything else they accuse everyone else of being.   That is why all those arguments need to be ignored, and each system, including China must be evaluated for what it does right and wrong and a new evolvable meta-system needs to be worked at to be put in place that does not humiliate or elevate any country ... all of us have problems, and all of our people suffer to some extent from these problems.

I thought this has got to be interesting.  I think the conflict if it does not break out militarily will end up making Chinese people out of the whole world.  If we just wait and let ourselves be bought out by the slave states we become a slave state, and slave state supporter ... we have lost.  Lost our soul, lost the hopes for our Constitution, and lost our values and ideas.  The thought is horrible to me and frankly I'd rather see military conflict ... But those who manage military conflict seem to be the elite that are bought off to undermine the people of the West.  The money we send criminals, for criminal goods turns around and make us criminals. On the other side, there is permeation of Western ideas globally because of the media, for Chinese to see life in the West and the beliefs of the West, and expectations.  The problem is that we now know that mostly whatever we see in the media is fake ... and I think the Chinese know that as well as we do.

  4. What is China's political system? There is great innovation and hard work ... a lot of plusses. But a lot of what seems like virtual slavery. And it certainly seems like nothing humanistic when you see how Chinese are treated, the products they get, and the great corruption we see in China. There is also the expansion of China into Tibet, and building cities of ethnic Chinese in the middle of another people's country - and not acknowledgement of it or discussion about it. There is China's apparent state of war with Taiwan. And what for?  To protect who?  To serve who?  For what purposes? How can China and the US together work to challenge each other and make both systems better, because certainly neither is perfect, or anywhere near it.

  7. This guy is biased because his knowing Chinese makes him totally dependent on the US and West having an increasing economic interest with China ... he overlooks and underplays all these problems ... because he is an old man and what does he care if his country is sold out?

AND, the story about the Aborigines in Australia is irrelevant to West-China relations, because the order in Australia was not changed, but the marketing about the system was and Aborigines now have to accept and get past white abuse.  Where is the parallel with China, and what is the change that is about to come. I guarantee you if the whites in Australia in that apology had heard that now the government and economic power was going to be handed over to the Aborigines they would not be clapping ... there is no parallel.
