  2. Maybe in addition to police we need epidemiologists of violence, karmic smoothers, that come in and calms down people who have been abused, because isn't the precursor to violence some kind of abuse or cruelty?

Funny how we do not listen to the people like this that have most intelligence, and experience with people and situations around the world, and most people prefer to argue incessantly about the nonsense people in the media who do not have the time or inclination to really do anything or come up with original ideas.

  5. Well yeah, that is the point, violence like this fluctuates, so to put such an exact number seems funny. There appears to have been an affect from the graphs, but taking the average over time is tricky. I live in Palo Alto, CA, and next door is East Palo Alto where there are shootings all the time - but they fluctuate all over the place ... randomly.
